About Me
The Now
I make a living in web development. I am a musician and also enjoy writing (mostly screenplays) and reading as much as possible, but don't get to do enough of any of it. I am usually writing new songs, and that can be kept up with
through my music page. I love books, and these days I am filling up on science (astrophysics and evolution mostly) and free-thought/atheism, but keep a side diet of Vonnegut and HST to keep me sane.
The Then
I was born in Fullerton, CA and grew up in various places in Southern California. I grew up with my mom and dad, two brothers (one older, one younger) and a younger sister in a very loving and unique family. I've always been a nerd and I've always loved music and I think both of those things could be considered common family traits. I considered myself a poet from the age of 6 (
"spring spring, fun in the sun, spring spring, hot dogs on buns" - taken from my magnum opus of 1985), and traded it in for singer/songwriter once I learned to play guitar at 13. I got my first full-time web job (and joined my first band) at 16 and learned enough after a few years to move up to SF and benefit a little from the .com boom in the late 90s. I took life and myself entirely too seriously as a kid and teenager and have been trying to fix that ever since.
The Later
I have no idea! I plan to keep learning and creating as much as possible. Beyond that, I'll just have to wait and see.
